Food rich in antioxidants is believed to be good for the skin. Furthermore, it has been proved that skin cells are also capable of absorbing antioxidants.

  • Artichokes

It is generally a type of thistle species harvested as food and is often referred to as Globe Artichoke, French Artichoke or Green Artichoke. The edible part of the Artichokes is the flower bud, and it has to be consumed before the flower blooms. Therefore, this particular species was introduced as a staple diet in ancient Rome. It is a type of Cabbage that can be eaten either raw or steamed or can be sautéed before being eaten. Kale leaves can also be cooked in curry and eaten, and they have positive impacts on removing wrinkles from the skin. 

  • Red Cabbage

Also referred to as Blaukraut, this red Cabbage can change its colour according to the pH of the soil. Being extraordinarily healthy and tasty, it is now being used in many exotic dishes, especially pasta. In addition, red Cabbage is perfect for providing natural radiance to the skin.

  • Beet

Also called table Beet, beetroot, red beet, dinner Beet or golden Beet, it can be consumed raw or cooked.
